Tyler Durden, Mar. 26, 2023  Only two weeks after Saudi Arabia announced an effort to establish diplomatic ties to Iran in a deal mediated by China, more news surfaced that Saudi Arabia was also planning to reopen its embassy in Syria for the first time in over a decade. Rumors are swirling that Iran, Saudi Arabia and Syria are on the verge of geopolitical and economic agreements that sidestep the US. It is perhaps not surprising that just as these deals are being announced, there has been a sudden resurgence of fighting between US forces in Syria and Iran supported insurgent groups in the eastern region of the country. Joe Biden addressed the issue in a short statement, asserting that his administration is 'not seeking conflict with Iran', but that the US government would act to protect its personnel deployed in Syria. The comments were a response to an apparent drone strike on a US military instillation in Syria which killed at least one American contractor and injured several others. Biden has authorized airstrikes against Iran backed forces in Syria as retaliation, though, it should be noted that no evidence has yet been presented of Iranian involvement. The eruption of direct conflict has the potential to escalate tensions with the Syrian government and Iran, and the timing of the event is highly suspicious. Conor Gallagher, Mar. 22, 2023  The Riyadh - Tehran detente deal could be a major win for not only the Middle East but also larger projects seeking more integration of greater Eurasia. If the deal is implemented, China's Belt and Road Initiative could become a key component of the economic futures of both Saudi Arabia and Iran. The rapprochement could also pay dividends for the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) project, which runs from St. Petersburg to Mumbai in India via Azerbaijan (or the Caspian Sea) and Iran and across the Arabian Sea. The "sanction-proof" corridor connects the Indian subcontinent with Russia without needing to go through Europe while simultaneously being 30 percent cheaper and 40 percent shorter than the existing routes. Following the announcement of the Saudi Arabia - Iran rapprochement deal brokered by China, the chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky praised the deal and explained how it corresponds with Russia's collective security concept for the Persian Gulf region. He paid particular attention to the INSTC, saying: In this regard, I view the International North-South Transport Corridor project, which will become the key factor for positive feedback for security, stability and development in this most important region, as a strategic one. The launch of the Corridor will become a milestone event not only in logistics, but also in politics and in security architecture of the Greater Eurasia, it will become the most important economic superstructure atop the strategic basis, achieved in Beijing. The INSTC was announced back in the early 2000s, but progress was slow until recently when the West's actions put it into overdrive. The sanctioning of Moscow and Tehran and the severing of Europe from Russian energy created the incentive to accelerate investments by key stakeholders. The authorities in Tehran realize their centrality on the India-Russia trade route, and considering that India's imports from Russia quadrupled last year, one can deduct the potential upside for Iran. With an investment boost from Russia, Tehran has been trying to speed up the completion of improved railway networks that will connect to the existing railways of Russia and Azerbaijan and Chabahar Port in southeastern Iran. Pentagon: Chinese President Sent A "Very Troubling Message"
Mac Slavo, Mar. 24, 2023  The United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told lawmakers on Thursday that Chinese President Xi Jinping's recent state visit to Russia should be regarded as a matter of grave concern for Washington. Lloyd said this meeting send a "very troubling message" to the U.S. ruling class. Speaking at the House of Representatives subcommittee on defense appropriations, Austin was asked to comment on Xi's trip to Moscow, and its ramifications for Sino-U.S. competition. "Xi's visit to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and remaining there for a couple of days I think sends a very troubling message, a message of support," the Pentagon chief replied. Lloyd stated that while the Pentagon has not seen signs that China had been providing Russia with military equipment for use against Ukraine, it is watching the situation "very closely," cautioning that "if they were to go down that path, I think that would be very troubling for the international community." He went on to warn that if Xi decided to arm Moscow, "it would prolong the conflict and certainly broaden the conflict potentially - not only in the region but globally." According to a report by RT, on Monday, the Chinese leader embarked on a three-day state visit to Moscow, holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the summit, the two sides signed more than a dozen documents on increased defense and industrial and economic cooperation. Moscow and Beijing also pledged to "deepen relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction entering a new era." - RT The U.S. has repeatedly claimed that China has been considering sending arms to Russia. The U.S. also continues to threaten "consequences" should it make such a move. Beijing, however, has dismissed such plans, accusing Washington of "spreading false information" and "fanning the flames" of the Ukraine conflict. "It is the United States and not China that is endlessly shipping weapons to the battlefield," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said last month. The U.S. has been seemingly trying to push this war to another level while working over time to make sure the war continues and all cease-fire attempts are off the table. Mac Slavo, Mar. 21, 2023  North Korean state-run media says there has been a mass enlistment to fight the "United States imperialists" in response to military drills between the United States and South Korea. The country's state newspaper Rodong Sinmum has reported that "volunteers" have promised to "completely wipe out" North Korea's enemies and unify the two Koreas. The "volunteers" allegedly enlisted or reenlisted at state-organized events on Friday, Rodong Sinmum said according to a report by Al Jazeera, in a report that featured photos of people waiting in long lines to sign their names at construction sites and other outdoor venues. "About 800,000" students and workers, who were described as the country's "youth vanguard," had stepped up "at once to join the war to defend the homeland and the war to destroy the enemy", Rondong Sinmum reported on Saturday, according to NK News, which monitors events in North Korea. According to the NK News report, the young volunteers were said to be responding to provocative acts by the US and South Korea, referred to in the newspaper report as "US imperialists and puppet traitors" bent on destroying North Korea's "independence and right to live and develop". Hal Turner, Mar. 25, 2023  The President of Kenya today announced to all citizens they should get rid of any U.S. Dollars they may be holding because they will become worth less within weeks. William Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto, Ph.D, CGH; is a Kenyan politician who is serving as the fifth and current president of Kenya since 13 September 2022. Prior to becoming president, he served as the first deputy president of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. Today, in a nationally televised speech in Kenya, Ruto said "Those of you who are holding dollars, you shortly might go into losses. So you better do what you have to do because this market will be different in a couple of weeks." This stunning announcement gives credibility to a RUMOR that has been circulating for over a year, that 142 countries around the world have secretly agreed to what they call "Operation Sandman." According to the RUMOR, Operation Sandman will "put the US Dollar to sleep" by having all 142 countries repudiate the currency on the same day, and refuse to continue accepting it for payment in Trade. Countries around the world began planning this when they witnessed the then-Democrat-Controlled US Congress, go on a spending spree of several TRILLION Dollars in Omnibus Bills. Those countries realized there is nothing backing the value of US Dollars and they saw that the US Congress has no plans at all to reign-in spending. One country's Finance Ministry recently told the US, "We are no longer willing to accept ones and zeros in a bank computer as actual payment for real goods." The countries agreed that holding US currency was becoming foolish because it was becoming worthless on its face, thanks to all the rampant over-spending by the US Government. Now, it appears those countries may actually take action "within a couple weeks." Between bird flu killing off tens of millions of chickens and egg laying hens, along with the unbelievable amount of food processing plants, processing plants and factories destroyed by explosions, fires and even a couple of airplanes crashing into them, mixed with plant viruses, drought and a number of other issues all affecting America's food supply, and now see that ports all across the U.S. are reporting unprecedented levels of cargo theft, led by consumables, the past few years have not been good for our food supply chain. In 2020: The lockdowns upended up the entire food supply chain, with restaurant and school closures causing a lack of demand, forcing farmers and ranchers to dump food, kill crops, and euthanize animals. In 2021 and 2022, we saw more than a 100 incidents of food facilities, including mass kill offs of chickens. Also in 2022 and 2023 the war between Russia and Ukraine caused wheat and fertilizer shortages, hiking the price of bread, and forcing farmers into an untenable position of smaller crops. In 2022 and 2023 we saw plant viruses affecting lettuce, weather events affecting orange crops, drought condition causing farmers and ranchers to yet again destroy crops and sell off cattle before calving. On top of all that, food inflation has continued to rise with no real end in sight. The most recent incident was an explosion of a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania, leaving two dead and multiple people missing. What are the odds of all of that happening, in the course of a three year period, coincidentally? While the exact number is unknown, I would say those odds are astronomical. We'll leave that for readers to discuss in the comment section. Despite media propaganda the banking crisis is far from over and if actions taken by the federal government fail to work, many Americans could lose what money they have in the bank, which is why it may benefit us all to keep just what is needed for bills in the bank, keeping the rest safe at home. Unfortunately, it has started to behave very erratically lately. Scientists are telling us that they think everything is just fine, but the truth is that they don't really know. We are witnessing activity that is truly unusual, and I believe that should deeply alarm all of us. In fact, I am entirely convinced that the behavior of the sun will become a really big story in the years ahead. Let me give you an example of what I am talking about. Last month, a portion of the sun's northern pole actually "broke off" and created a "massive polar vortex" ... The sun has been experiencing bizarre behavior recently - in February, a piece of its northern pole broke off. A video shows a giant filament of plasma, or electrified gas, shooting out from the sun, separating and then circulating in a 'massive polar vortex.' While astronomers are baffled, they speculate the prominence has something to do with the reversal of the sun's magnetic field that happens once every solar cycle. The size of this polar vortex was absolutely astounding. It is being reported that it was 74,500 miles high and "14 times larger than Earth" ... The incredible moment a colossal 'solar tornado' that is 14 times larger than Earth swirls on the sun's surface has been captured by NASA in a new video. The twister, composed of plasma and heat, measured more than 74,500 miles high and moved up to 310,000 miles per hour. Is this behavior normal? Scientists don't really know, because they have never seen anything quite like this before. A few weeks later, we witnessed an absolutely colossal coronal mass ejection that traveled away from the sun at a speed of "at least 3,000 kilometers per second" ... Late on Monday, March 13, the Sun blasted out a coronal mass ejection (CME) traveling at at least 3,000 kilometers per second (6,700,000 miles per hour), possibly the fastest ever recorded. The expelled particles reached the Earth's orbit in less than a day. Had they hit the Earth, the results could have been catastrophic, but fortunately the CME was directed almost directly opposite. He came on Tucker Carlson to explain: "Female students complained to me that they were concerned because males were using their washrooms. This turned into a debate at the school. I stated my opinion on it, and I used Scripture to back it up," Alexander said. "They removed me from the building for the remainder of the year and, when I attempted to attend class, I was arrested and charged," he continued. Alex Krainer, Mar. 22, 2023  It was in 2018 that Vladimir Putin took the stage to present Russia's new hypersonic weapons. The term "hypersonic" refers to missiles that fly at speeds of 5 mach and higher. At the time, many in the west dismissed Putin's claims and thought it was a bluff. We now know that he wasn't bluffing. Russia is the only country in the world that has deployment-ready hypersonic missiles - not one but three types: Zircons, Kinzhals and Avantguards. Domazet explained why these weapons are radical game changers in warfare. Namely, in World War 1, tanks were the game changing military technology. Since World War 2, it's been the air-force. Aircraft carrier strike groups have been an irresistible force wherever they travelled, dominating the seas ever since. But hypersonic precision missiles have rendered that force obsolete overnight. The main military front in today's global conflict, according to Domazet, are the Anti-Ballistic (ABM) batteries which the US has set up on the Poland-Romania axis, and the Russians on the North Pole-Kaliningrad-Crimea-Syria axis. These are defensive systems, conceived to intercept incoming nuclear missiles (though they can easily be converted to offensive nuclear missiles). However, today's ABM systems are only effective against missiles flying at speeds up to mach 3.5 (3.5 x the speed of sound). The Kinzhal turns mighty aircraft carrier strike groups into sitting ducks Russia's new Kinzhal missile flies at speeds of mach 12 to mach 15 and nothing in western defensive arsenals can stop its strike. During the war in Ukraine, Russia staged a stunning demonstration of its power. The first Kinzhal strike, delivered one month after the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, was perhaps the most significant: Russian forces targeted a large weapons depot in Ukraine which had been built during the Soviet times to withstand a nuclear strike. It was buried 170 meters (over 500 ft) underground and protected by several layers of armored concrete. The Kinzhal flies at altitudes of between 20 and 40 km, with a maximum range of 2,000 km. When above target, it dives perpendicularly and accelerates to 15 mach, generating enormous kinetic energy in addition to its explosive payload. That first strike with a single Kinzhal missile destroyed Ukraine's nuke-proof underground weapons depot. This was a message for the west. At the beginning of January, I warned that the overall theme of this year would be "here we go", and global events have certainly been accelerating in recent weeks. At this moment, we are in the midst of the worst banking crisis since 2008. The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank was the second biggest bank failure in U.S. history, and the collapse of Signature Bank was the third biggest bank failure in U.S. history. Unfortunately, 186 more banks are now at risk of failing, and if large numbers of banks do collapse in the months ahead that could push us over the edge into a severe economic depression. So it is the perfect time for the elite to distract us with a major political stunt so that we will all take our eyes off of the financial disaster that is rapidly unfolding all around us ... Arresting Trump will greatly anger tens of millions of his supporters, but I think that the left is banking on that. I think that they actually want political chaos.
