Ask and Ye Shall ReceiveWe are told "ask and ye shall receive." God is willing to give us good things but is very careful to do it when it is truly for our best good. We are given a few clues in scripture that perhaps we sometimes do not receive because we simply fail to ask. Here are a few of them: Ask and Ye Shall Receive
I've had this website for over two years now and have kept it free of advertising and have not asked for support on it. These verses and a recent development encourage me to now ask. This website has required many hours of work to study, prepare pages, upload them and maintain the site etc. And there are ongoing costs for hosting and other needs. However, I believe it is helping people. I am presently having over 300 unique people per day visiting my site. God wants to give what we need, sometimes even what we want: "Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing." (Psa 145:16) As I have studied God's character, I have come to appreciate Him more all the time and to realize that He really does always have our best good in mind; He wants to bless us. If you have been blessed by that or other information on this website why not pass on the blessing by helping in some way to keep it going? And, if you have questions about my website in general or anything specific on any of the pages, ask and ye shall receive an answer. (Note that if your question is specific to a page and there is a form on that page, please use it.) |
