The Coming Collapse

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars ... nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes ..." (Matt 24:6-7)

I have been sending these newsletters since 2009 at first monthly and, more recently, quarterly. I have shared news items that seemed significant in terms of end-time events, at times with some of my own comment.

We are living in strange times indeed. As I just started looking for news items to share in this issue I found it harder to find much that was not related to the current health crisis. There is so much misinformation and so much heated debate. Very unfortunately, there is also much censoring of opinions. Many voices have been silenced or nearly so on this issue. There is much I could say and share but I am not going to. I am avoiding the issue for these reasons.

1. Everyone should do their own research. Hopefully, you can find the full range of opinions, carefully evaluate them and make your own decision. And you should be absolutely free to do so - whichever position you take.

2. The potential censorship if I shared material I have seen could risk these newsletters which are really meant to share spiritual information.

3. My emphasis is on our spiritual understanding and preparation. Expressing a strongly-held opinion on the health crisis and its heavily-mandated solution could alienate many people regarding the spiritual information I would like to share.

I will make one exception to the above and share a Bible fact that most people will never come across in their research on this health issue:

"And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." (Revelation 18:23)

I will just give you a clue and let (urge) you to follow it up and think about it. Use something like Strong's concordance or https://biblehub.com/ to find the meaning of the word "sorceries" in that verse and think about that in relation to what is happening in the world. This crisis is not going to just end and everything go back to normal. It is a necessary part (from the evil side) of the deception of the last days.

Also that word "deceived" is interesting in light of who owns the media: https://www.webfx.com/blog/internet/the-6-companies-that-own-almost-all-media-infographic/ It is easy to control the narrative if you control the distribution of information.

I will share a few news items as I have done in the past but first a little more prophetic reasoning.

What would it take for the powers that be (or who will come on the stage) to enforce what is commonly called the Mark of the Beast mentioned in these verses?

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)

It would take an issue, a means of control, coercive mandates, passports etc - just the sort of things that are happening now. I would suggest this crisis is being used basically as a practice run for what is coming. Watch for the next big issue which we already know is climate control. You will see a religious issue connected with that. When it comes, take a careful look at that and ask yourself if it is from God or not. Does God force worship?

I am not giving much away am I? Don't be lazy; do some investigating on your own. Our society and even the physical world is about to go through some very drastic changes.

Many of the stories I have shared in the past in these newsletters have been associated with natural disasters which many people would believe come from God. The key to understanding the source of natural disasters is the character of God. And key to that is correctly understanding the Biblical meaning of many words (commonly misunderstood) the Bible uses such as the word "sent" as in "God sent ..." In an open letter Wednesday to heads of state attending the United Nations General Assembly, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and other industry groups warned of a "global transport system collapse" if governments do not restore freedom of movement to transport workers and give them priority to receive vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization.

Growing up was already hard enough. Now kids are also facing the prospect of living with rising temperatures, ferocious floods, and an unstable climate for the rest of their lives.

The largest study of its kind shows that the environmental crisis is causing widespread psychological distress for young people across the globe. In a paper released Tuesday, researchers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Finland found that 45 percent of teens and young adults say climate anxiety is affecting their daily lives and ability to function. It's the first study to suggest that young people's emotional distress is strongly linked to their governments' failure to respond.

"This study paints a horrific picture of widespread climate anxiety in our children and young people," said Caroline Hickman, a co-author and a researcher at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, in a statement.

The "future is frightening," with more than half believing that "humanity is doomed." Nearly 4 in 10 said that they are hesitant to have children.

The study, under peer review in the journal Lancet Planetary Health, surveyed 10,000 people between the ages of 16 to 25 in February and March this year. The respondents came from 10 countries: Australia, Brazil, Finland, France, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, Portugal, the U.K., and the U.S. Researchers found that concern about climate change was concentrated more heavily in poorer countries, which have contributed the least to the greenhouse gas emissions heating up the planet. In the Philippines, for example, 92 percent agreed that the future was frightening, compared with 68 percent in the United States.

Some 58 percent of those surveyed said that their governments are betraying them and future generations. That number was particularly high, 77 percent, in Brazil, where deforestation and fire in the Amazon rainforest have risen under President Jair Bolsonaro.

At the beginning of the week, we told readers the dog days of summer have finally arrived with above-average temperatures for most of the country.

By late Thursday, watch/warning/advisory alerts for dangerous heat extended to nearly 200 million Americans as multiple heat domes scorch the Pacific Northwest, Central states, and East Coast.

Meanwhile, hot temps and a megadrought in the US West have fueled 105 large files burning 2.4 million acres in 14 states. The largest fire is Dixie in northern California, burning more than 500,000 acres so far.

(CNN)The devastating heat wave that ravaged British Columbia last week is being blamed for a massive die-off of mussels, clams and other marine animals that live on the beaches of Western Canada.

Christopher Harley, a professor in the zoology department at The University of British Columbia, found countless dead mussels popped open and rotting in their shells on Sunday at Kitsilano Beach, which is a few blocks away from his Vancouver home.

Harley studies the effects of climate change on the ecology of rocky shores where clams, mussels and sea stars live, so he wanted to see how the intertidal invertebrates were faring in the record heat wave that hit the area on June 26-28.

Harley said the heat may have killed as many as a billion mussels and other sea creatures in the Salish Sea, which includes the Strait of Georgia, the Puget Sound, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, but he said that was a very preliminary estimate.

"When we see mussel beds disappearing, they're the main structuring species, so they're almost like the trees in the forest that are providing a habitat for other species, so it's really obvious when a mussel bed disappears," he said. "When we start seeing die-offs of other smaller animals, because they're moving around, because they're not so dense, It's not quite as obvious."

He said the death of a mussel bed can cause "a cascading effect" on other species.

Both scientists said they were concerned that these heat waves were becoming more common and they weren't sure whether the mussel beds would be able to recover.

"What worries me is that if you start getting heat waves like this, every 10 years instead of every 1,000 years or every five years, then it's -- myou're getting hit too hard, too rapidly to actually ever recover," Harley said. "And then the ecosystem is going to just look very, very different."

Our planet is going through extreme changes that are unlike anything we have ever seen before, and global weather patterns are going completely insane as a result. Last winter, record cold temperatures were being shattered all over the globe and we were witnessing snowfall totals that were absolutely crazy in many areas. Now summer has arrived in the northern hemisphere, and extreme weather events are making headlines every single day. This month alone, we have witnessed apocalyptic flooding in western Europe and China, a massive fire in Oregon has burned an area larger than the entire city of Los Angeles, and Brazil has announced to the world that it will have crop losses that are "historic" in nature. All throughout history there have been natural disasters, but these days we are faced with an endless series of droughts, floods, heat waves, mudslides, wildfires and crop failures. If you think that there is an "easy solution" to this crisis, you are just being delusional. Weather patterns are permanently shifting, and nothing will ever be the same again.

Traditionally, Germany has had extremely stable weather, but now that is changing in a major way.

An intense deluge over a period of two days caused unprecedented flooding in much of the nation, and Angela Merkel found it difficult to find words to describe the utter devastation that she personally witnessed ...

Parts of Western Europe were battered by two months' worth of rainfall in two days, leading to overflowing rivers and torrents of floodwater that toppled centuries-old buildings and saturated farmland that collapsed into giant sinkholes of churned earth.

"The German language barely has words for the devastation that has been wreaked," German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a news conference after surveying the area Sunday.

Because they had never seen a flooding disaster of this magnitude, countries in western Europe found themselves completely unprepared for what happened, and the death toll just keeps rising ...

The floods in Europe have killed at least 165 people, most of them in Germany, Europe's most powerful economy. Across Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, hundreds have been reported as missing, which suggests the death toll could rise. Questions are now being raised about whether the authorities adequately warned the public about risks.

Shortly after the flooding in western Europe, parts of China were hit by an even more intense deluge.

While most Americans remain in a deep state of slumber, global events are moving us a little bit closer to military conflict with each passing day. U.S. relations with China are rapidly going down the tubes, and this is something that should greatly concern all of us, because it has very serious implications for our future. Personally, this is an issue that I have been focusing on for a very long time. Many years ago when I worked as an attorney, I would often have conversations about the state of the world with those that I worked with, and when China would come up I would warn that someday the U.S. and China would be bitter adversaries. At the time, what I was saying didn't seem to make sense to a lot of people, but I understood where global trends were taking us. Like most of the things that I write about, I knew that it wouldn't happen right away, but now we have reached a point where U.S. relations with China are the worst that they have been since the Korean War.

A clear and troubling consensus has emerged in the American national security community that the Taiwan Strait is the most likely place for a major war to erupt between the United States and China; that it might start soon, and that such a conflict might quickly escalate into a nuclear confrontation.

In March, the leading foreign policy organization in the United States, the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, issued a report concluding that Taiwan has become "the most dangerous flashpoint in the world." There, a unique and troubling set of geopolitical developments have conspired to make a shooting war between the People's Republic of China and the United States more likely than ever before. Recently the newly appointed commander of U.S. forces in the Indo-Pacific Region, Admiral John Aquilino, remarked that a possible invasion of Taiwan by the People's Republic of China (PRC) "is much closer than we think."

Tehran will be able to break out to a nuclear weapon within 10 weeks, Defense Minister Benny Gantz told diplomats from UN Security Council member states on Wednesday as tensions ratcheted up between Iran and the international community over its maritime attacks.

"Iran has violated all of the guidelines set in the JCPOA [nuclear agreement] and is only around 10 weeks away from acquiring weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon," Gantz warned.

"Therefore," he added, "it is time to act. The world must apply economic sanctions and take operative action against the Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps," which has targeted shipping vessels.
