End Times Signs Abounding

Introduction

Ready for the end times? Signs are everywhere to say that we should be getting ready. One little-noticed event - the bison joining the bald eagle as a symbol of the United States - could have prophetic significance.

There is more danger in the Middle East as threats and preparation continue. There is more danger around the world from earthquakes and volcanoes and weird weather. More reasons to think of preparation and yet there are people who should know better saying we should not prepare.

Wildfire season has started early in western Canada with a very large and disastrous fire in Alberta, one province over from where I live. Serious problems in the waters too as fish are dying by the millions all over the planet. As a former fisheries biologist I take note of such things - signs of our worsening environment.

I have included some video that speaks of the increased surveillance that governments are using to watch their citizens.

Note that I am simply sharing items of interest. That does not imply that I agree with everything presented or with other material that may be on a source's other web pages.

Bison joins bald eagle as symbol of United States

You probably think of the bald eagle when you think of an animal that represents the United States. But as of this week, the eagle has a rather large competitor.

President Obama officially named the American bison the national mammal on Monday by signing the National Bison Legacy Act. (The bald eagle will keep its status as a national symbol.)

The new law may give celebrity status to the huge and shaggy animal, also known as the buffalo, that once roamed North America in the tens of millions. By the late 1800s, they were almost extinct because of hunting.

Republic Of Iran Threatens To Sink U.S. Warship

According to Iranian state controlled media, a top general of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps was quoted threatening U.S. warships in the area if they were to approach the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"We have informed Americans that their presence in the Persian Gulf is an absolute evil," Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi was quoted as saying before adding, "Americans are aware that Iran would destroy their warships if they take a wrong measure in the region."

This comes after the Iranian forces took 10 U.S. Navy Sailors hostage back in January of this year. In that particular incident Iran publicly humiliated the United States by showing video of the 10 captured U.S. Navy sailors on television around the globe.

After the ten United States naval sailors were released from Iran, the United States Secretary of State John Kerry started thanking the Islamic Republic of Iran for releasing the captured naval sailors.

Just a few weeks ago Iran threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz if the United States naval forces and warships did not leave the Gulf area. Still the Obama administration insists on taking a fragile diplomatic foreign policy stance towards Iran, and the Islamic State for that matter.

ISIS preparing deadly anthrax attacks

Kenyan police have disrupted a cell of extremist medics linked to ISIS who were reportedly planning to launch a deadly anthrax attack.

"The suspects were planning large scale attacks akin to the Westgate Mall attack (in September 2013 in which 67 people died) with the intention of killing innocent Kenyans," said Boinnet. He said Ali's "network also included medical experts with whom they planned to unleash a biological attack in Kenya using anthrax. His arrest and those of his accomplices is a major breakthrough in the fight against terrorism in Kenya and the region."

It was the latest indicator that ISIS remains intent on using biological weapons against civilians - and is of particular concern to Americans following Tuesday's admission by the Obama administration that "ISIS has the capability to stage a Paris-style attack in the U.S. using local cells to strike in multiple locations and inflict dozens of casualties," according to a CNN report.

"They do have that capacity," Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told CNN in an interview.

Military launching tests of world's largest unmanned vessel

The military is launching tests on the world's largest unmanned surface vessel - a self-driving, 132-foot ship designed to travel thousands of miles out at sea without a single crew member on board.

The so-called "Sea Hunter" has the potential to revolutionize not only the military's maritime service but commercial shipping - marking the first step toward sending unmanned cargo vessels between countries, according to military officials, who showed off the ship in San Diego on Monday before it was put in the water.

The Pentagon's research arm, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, developed the ship along with Virginia-based Leidos. DARPA will test it in conjunction with the Navy over the next two years off California's coast. The tests will largely focus on its ability to react on its own to avoid collisions with seafaring traffic.

During the testing phase, the ship will have human operators as a safety net, but once it proves to be reliable, the autonomous surface vessel will maneuver itself - able to go out at sea for months at a time.

Program manager Scott Littlefield said there will be no "remote-controlled driving of the vessel," instead it will be given its mission-level commands telling it where to go and what to accomplish and then software will enable it to drive itself safely.

Pope Francis Calls For Worldwide Communist Government

In this Jubilee Year 2016, Pope Francis affirmed communism as the best structure for humankind and the European Union.

He did so upon receiving the Charlemagne Prize last week and made a speech that included the following comment: "We need to move from a liquid economy prepared to use corruption as a means of obtaining profits, to a social economy that guarantees access to land and lodging through labor."

Read that quote carefully. What is he proposing here?

He wants to move from a "liquid economy"… what does that mean? My only guess is that he wants the economy to be less fluid ... more controlled. He then seems to imply that making profits (creating wealth, you know, the stuff that enables him to sit on his golden thrones in his massive militarized compound) is in some way corrupt. He then wants to move to a "social economy", which I presume means socialism/communism. And through that he wants to "guarantee" access to land and lodging through labor.

You know who else received guaranteed access to lodging through labor? African slaves in the 1800s.

For this Pope it seems a kind of slavery is best suited to the human condition. Everyone is entitled to the essentials and not much more. And in return, everyone "labors."

In actual fact, your average American today is essentially a free-range slave. Most data showing the average American's expenditures show that nearly half of their income goes towards paying the plantation owner (the government), and then the rest goes to pay for "lodging" (rent or mortgage - and they don't actually own the house even if paid off as they have to pay the plantation every year to live in it, called "property tax"), then food, then medical care (in order to keep them working), then transportation (which is mostly used to get to and back from their workplace). After that, it is estimated, that your average American has less than 10% left for themselves.

The Pope, apparently, would like to see that 10% done away with and just supply housing and bare necessities to the slaves ... sorry, citizens.

Some will scoff and say, "The Pope should just shut up when it comes to politics and economics." And they are right, of course.

But he plays a a large role in rolling out the New World Order, Agenda 2030, system. More than 1 billion people around the world listen to him talk about Marxism. He's kind-of given up on the God and Jesus thing anyway.

Recently, he has been saying that individual choice supersedes the Word of God. And he has been trying to combine all the world's religions into one, whether it is with Jesus or not ... Jesus is kind-of being pushed aside and forgotten. Probably because Jesus was an anarchist who believed in the Golden Rule ... that rule would not allow for a forced worldwide communist government.

Obama's toilet revolution

As a Western revolutionary, Obama has been relentless in his efforts over the last seven years to use all the machinery and influence of government, whether illegally (since 2012, the U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously ruled 13 times that Obama's actions have been unconstitutional) or legally, to fundamentally transform America into the neo-Marxist democracy he and his father have long dreamed about.

What's most ominous about Obama's latest maneuver is that the letter sent by the Justice Department to North Carolina governor Pat McCrory stakes out a position for the federal government that would apply to every business in America, as well as all universities and colleges that receive federal funds, that are subject to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. His most recent stunt to this end is to use North Carolina's "bathroom" law, or House Bill 2, as a springboard for the U.S. Justice Department to issue a sweeping dictate in the name of social fairness and civil rights. House Bill 2, which requires individuals to use the public bathrooms and showers that correspond to their birth sex, was drafted and passed in order to negate an unconstitutional Charlotte city ordinance that forced different sexes to share public accommodations.

According to Gov. McCrory, the demand letter (read the letter here) sent to top North Carolina officials should be understood as follows:

One thing the nation has to realize is this is no longer just a North Carolina issue. This order, this letter by the Justice Department, is saying that every company in the United States of America that has more than 15 employees are going to have to abide by the federal government's regulations on bathrooms. So now the federal government is going to tell almost every private sector company in the United States who can or cannot come into their bathrooms, restrooms, their shower facilities for their employees. And they're also telling every university in the United States of America -- it's not just North Carolina -- they're now telling every university that accepts federal funding that boys who may think they're a girl can go into a locker room or a restroom or shower facility.

Snowden: "We Are Like Tagged Animals"

In a new piece out in The Intercept, whistleblower Edward Snowden has summed up what smart phones really are:

By preying on the modern necessity to stay connected, governments can reduce our dignity to something like that of tagged animals, the primary difference being that we paid for the tags and they're in our pockets. It sounds like fantasist paranoia, but on the technical level it's so trivial to implement that I cannot imagine a future in which it won't be attempted. It will be limited to the war zones at first, in accordance with our customs, but surveillance technology has a tendency to follow us home ...

But most people still don't get it.

Inevitably that conceptual subversion finds its way home, along with the technology that enables officials to promote comfortable illusions about surgical killing and nonintrusive surveillance. Take, for instance, the Holy Grail of drone persistence, a capability that the United States has been pursuing forever. The goal is to deploy solar-powered drones that can loiter in the air for weeks without coming down. Once you can do that, and you put any typical signals collection device on the bottom of it to monitor, unblinkingly, the emanations of, for example, the different network addresses of every laptop, smartphone, and iPod, you know not just where a particular device is in what city, but you know what apartment each device lives in, where it goes at any particular time, and by what route. Once you know the devices, you know their owners. When you start doing this over several cities, you're tracking the movements not just of individuals but of whole populations.

And he points out that, while all of this is going on, government employees sit, day in and day out, willfully participating in the Orwellian electronic enslavement of their fellow citizens:

All Of A Sudden, Fish Are Dying By The MILLIONS All Over The Planet

Why are millions upon millions of dead sea creatures suddenly washing up on beaches all over the world? It is certainly not unusual for fish and other inhabitants of our oceans to die. This happens all the time. But over the past month we have seen a series of extremely alarming mass death incidents all over the planet. As you will see below, many of these mass death incidents have involved more than 30 tons of fish. In places such as Chile and Vietnam, it has already gotten to the level where it has started to become a major national crisis. People see their coastlines absolutely buried in dead sea creatures, and they are starting to freak out.

For example, just check out what is going on in Chile right now. The following comes from a Smithsonian Magazine article entitled "hy Are Chilean Beaches Covered With Dead Animals? ...

Compared to other countries, Chile is almost all coast, and that geographical fluke means that the country is known for its beautiful beaches. But that reputation may be on the wane thanks to a new sight on Chilean shores: dead animals. Lots of them. Heaps of them, in fact. As Giovanna Fleitas reports for the Agence France-Presse, the South American country's beaches are covered with piles of dead sea creatures—and scientists are trying to figure out why.

Tales of dead animals washing up on shore are relatively common; after all, the ocean has a weird way of depositing its dead on shore. But Chile's problem is getting slightly out of hand. As Fleitas writes, recent months have not been kind to the Chilean coast, which has played host to washed-up carcasses of over 300 whales, 8,000 tons of sardines, and nearly 12 percent of the country's annual salmon catch, to name a few.

Authorities in Chile are scrambling to come up with a reason for why this is happening, but nobody appears to be quite sure what is causing this tsunami of death.

In Vietnam, things are even worse. At this point, so many dead fish and clams have been washing up along the coast that soldiers have been deployed to bury them ...

Millions of fish have washed up dead along a 125-kilometre stretch of the Vietnamese coast in one of the communist country's worst environmental disasters.

Soldiers have been deployed to bury tonnes of fish, clams and the occasional whale that began dying in early April along the north-central coast, including some popular tourist beaches.

Vietnamese officials facing growing anger over the disaster have not announced the official cause of the deaths, which have affected the livelihoods of tens of thousands of families.

Elsewhere in Asia, there have been similar incidents. For example, CNN is reporting that one lake in southern China is currently dealing with 35 tons of dead fish ...

Canada wildfire rages near oil sand facilities, extending shutdowns

A massive wildfire raged near Fort McMurray, Alberta on Tuesday and threatened major oil sands production facilities, forcing the evacuation of thousands of workers and prolonging a shutdown that cut Canadian oil output by 1 million barrels a day.

The fire jumped a critical firebreak late Monday where plants and trees had been removed to stop its spread, moving north of Fort McMurray into oil sand camp areas. Some 8,000 workers were evacuated in the heavily forested northern part of the province.

The wildfire was taking a toll on the province's economy, with one study estimating the lost oil production would cut gross domestic product (GDP) by more than C$70 million a day.

The uncontrolled blaze covered 355,000 hectares (877,224 acres), up from 285,000 hectares on Monday. The fire on Tuesday burned a 655-room lodge for oil sands workers about 35 km (20 miles) north of Fort McMurray and threatened other housing.

High temperatures and winds were working against firefighters, and the fire was forecast to move to the east, putting oil operations in its path, officials said.

Preachers That Are Saying It Is 'Anti-Christian' To Get Prepared Are Being Exceedingly Irresponsible

Is it "anti-faith" to prepare for the very hard times that are coming? You would be surprised at how many Christians believe that this is true. Recently, I have been reading a number of articles by Christian leaders that take the position that Christians should not be preppers, and not too long ago I watched two very well known ministers actually mock the idea of preparing for the future on a major Christian television show. To me, this is exceedingly irresponsible. If you don't want to do anything to get prepared for the very difficult years that are coming that is your business, but don't urge multitudes of your fellow believers to go down that road with you.

In Matthew 24, Jesus describes what conditions will be like just prior to His return, and He told us that one of the things that we can expect is famine ...

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows."

Jesus promises us that famine is coming, and if we truly are entering the period of time that the Bible refers to as "the last days", this is one of the things that we should fully expect to see.

And yet there are very prominent preachers out there that have taken the liberty to mock other preachers that are actually encouraging their flocks to store up food and supplies.

Well, what are those mocking preachers going to do when things get really crazy and the people in their own congregations don't have anything to eat?

Are those preachers going to personally feed all of them?

If you can see what is coming and you don't warn the people, you are going to be responsible for what happens to them.

Without a doubt, it is very clear in the Scriptures that we are not to fear and that we are not to worry. We are repeatedly commanded to trust God with everything in our lives, but does "having faith" mean that we sit back on our couches watching television while we wait for God to do everything for us?

Of course not.

Radical faith almost always involves radical action. God tells us what to do, and then He expects us to trust Him enough to do what He has instructed us to do.

If faith really means doing nothing while God does everything, then why would any of us ever go to work?

Earth Changes In 2016? How To Get Prepared For The Coming Earthquakes And Volcanic Eruptions

All over the world seismic activity is increasing. In recent weeks we have seen a dramatic earthquake in Ecuador, more than 600 earthquakes have experts extremely alarmed about what is happening to Japan's southern Island, and 37 volcanoes around the planet are erupting right now. Most of the large earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that we have witnessed lately have come along the Ring of Fire, which is an area of seismic instability which roughly encircles the Pacific Ocean. Fortunately the west coast of the United States has been spared so far, but scientists tell us that tension has been building up along the San Andreas fault and the Cascadia Subduction Zone for decades, and they assure us that it is only a matter of time before we see a major event. What that day arrives, will you be prepared?

There were a couple of notable seismic events which took place on Monday. First of all, the largest volcano in Russia's Far East known as Klyuchevskaya Sopka violently erupted. Steaming hot ash was shot more than three miles up into the air, but fortunately it is not a heavily populated area. This represents yet another major volcanic eruption along the Ring of Fire, and this has some scientists extremely concerned about what may be coming next.

Here in the United States, an unusual swarm of 21 earthquakes along the Arizona-Nevada border is also raising eyebrow...

More small earthquakes shook northwest Arizona Sunday adding to the list of temblors that have struck the area since March 29.

The Arizona Geological Survey said two quakes occurred, including a magnitude 2.6 quake at 12:07 a.m.

There has been a swarm of 21 quakes in an area along the Arizona-Nevada line south-southwest of Littlefield, AZ, which is also close to southwestern Utah and the frequency and span puzzles geologists.

The good news is that we have not had a truly historic earthquake in the U.S. for decades, and there have been no major volcanic eruptions since Mount St. Helens exploded back in 1980.

But scientists assure us that we are living on borrowed time, and there are three extremely dangerous volcanoes in North America that I am keeping a close watch on right now ...

Scenes From The Venezuela Apocalypse: "Countless Wounded" After 5,000 Loot Supermarket Looking For Food

Over the last several years we have documented with clockwork regularity Venezuela's collapse into failed state status, which was cemented several weeks ago when news hit that "Venezuela had officially run out of money to print new money." At that point the best one could do was merely to step back and watch as local society and civilization turned on itself, unleashing what would ultimately turn into Venezuela's own, sad apocalypse.

As we wrote then these are simply hungry Venezuelans protesting that their children are dying from lack of food and medicine and that they do not have enough water or electricity. As AgainstCronyCapitalism added, this is a country with more oil than Saudi Arabia, and the government has stolen all the money and now they bottleneck peaceful protesters and threaten them with bombs (or haul them to prison and torture them).

As pure desperation has set in, crime has becomes inevitable. A man accused of mugging people in the streets of Caracas was surrounded by a mob of onlookers, beaten and set on fire, who published a pixeled-out but still graphic video of the man burning as mob justice is now the supreme arbiter of who lives and who dies:

Ray's note: Venezuela is an example of what can quickly happen in society when things break down, when people get desparate. Another reason for some preparation ahead of time.

It seems that more and more of the sort of stories I would like to share are in video format rather than articles. I'm including three videos here; the first one is 17 min of mostly natural phenomena that point to the natural order of things being turned upside down. For many people, this world is becoming a more difficult place to live. Perhaps we should be thinking about some physical preparation as mentioned above.

The next video (11 min) includes a variety of items including some items about futuristic tracking methods - futuristic sounding but actually being implemented in some areas now.

The third video (10 min) shows the extent to which survelliance is being implemented in some areas (in this case, Seattle, WA). Be sure that, as the bugs are worked out, it will be implemented (the bugs will be put in) in more areas.
