I was checking the interlinear Bible and you are correct. I always wondered why Jesus would be resurrected on Sunday and not the day He set aside for us to study His word.

The Greek has multiple words for forgiveness? God forgives (charizomai) whether we ask or not. Receiving forgiveness (apheimi) is by our choice.
