Ten Plagues - Just for Starters

Introduction
The Ten Plagues That Are Hitting America Right Now is the title of the first article in this month's newsletter. Are these the ten plagues to come at the end that the Bible speaks of? I would make no such claim and believe these and other disasters which are becoming more and more frequent are mere harbingers of much worse to come. The article identifies ten very plague-like situations that are causing problems in the United States now and may for some time. I included only the first part of the article with a link to read the whole article on-line but have listed what those ten plagues are here:

There are increases in all sorts of problems worldwide. I have been doing these monthly newsletters now since January 2009. I read lots more than what I select to include and I must say that, in the last few months, from what I have read, conditions seem to be rapidly worsening.

I have links to two videos at the end of this newsletter. One includes graphic and shocking information and footage (be warned) of the violence and brutality of ISIS who even behead innocent children!

The Ten Plagues That Are Hitting America Right Now

Why are so many plagues hitting the United States all of a sudden? Yes, one can always point out bad stuff that is happening somewhere in the country, but right now we are facing a nightmarish combination of crippling drought, devastating wildfires, disastrous viruses, dying crops and superbugs that scientists don't know how to kill. And as you will see, we even have a plague of flies down in Mississippi. So what in the world is going on? Is this just a case of bad luck, or is something else happening? At the conclusion of this article, please feel free to tell me what you think. The following are ten plagues that are hitting America right now ...

#1 The Plague Of Flies In The Upper Mississippi River Valley

Nigeria Declares State Of Emergency: "Everyone In The World Is At Risk" From Ebola, CDC Issues Level 1 "All-Hands Call"

With over 932 dead, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued its highest level alert for an all-hands on deck response to the crisis in West Africa (that is spreading across the world). While President Obama proclaimed we are prepared and it is "not easily transmitted," it appears that is not entirely true. Meanwhile, CDC Director Frieden's "deep concerns" have been confirmed as Nigeria's health minister has declared a health emergency as the deadly Ebola virus gained a foothold in Africa's most populous nation, according to news reports. Nigerian authorities moved quickly late Wednesday, gathering isolation tents as five more cases of the Ebola Virus were confirmed in Lagos (the world's 4th most populous city with 21 million people). Most international flights from West Africa are also now screening passengers.

What Will It Mean If The Potential Ebola Victim In New York City Actually Has The Virus?

On Monday, we learned that a "possible Ebola patient" was being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. We are being told that this individual recently returned from a country in Africa where there have been confirmed cases of Ebola. So that would narrow it down to Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria. The patient is being described as a male "with high fever and gastrointestinal symptoms". The hospital says that "necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all patients, visitors and staff". But could you imagine the panic that is going to be created if there actually is a confirmed case of Ebola in the heart of New York City? There is nothing in the post-World War II era that would even be comparable. Certainly 9/11 created fear for a short period of time, but a full-blown Ebola outbreak would create a panic that could potentially last for months or even years.

And this comes on the heels of another Ebola scare in the United Kingdom. According to a British news source, a seriously ill 72-year-old woman "collapsed and died" after getting off a plane from Sierra Leone at Gatwick Airport...

Why are massive numbers of sea creatures dying along the west coast right now?

Never before have we seen so much death along the west coast of North America. Massive numbers of sea stars, bluefin tuna, sardines, anchovies, herring, oysters, salmon, marine mammals and marine birds are dying, and experts are puzzled. We are being told that we could even see "local extinctions" of some of these sea creatures. So are all of these deaths related? If so, what in the world could be causing this to happen? What has changed so dramatically that it would cause massive numbers of sea creatures to die along the west coast?

The following are 15 examples of this phenomenon. Most scientists do not believe that these incidents are related. But when you put them all together, it paints quite a disturbing picture...

#1 A "mystery plague" is turning sea stars all along the west coast of the United States and Canada into piles of goo...

Sea stars, commonly referred to as starfish, have been dying off in alarming numbers along the entire West Coast, from Baja, Mexico, to Alaska. According to reports from the Seattle Aquarium, some parts of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands have seen population declines of up to 80 percent.

On the Oregon coast, according to CoastWatch Volunteer Coordinator Fawn Custer, "Last December, we had less than 1 percent of sea star wasting. By May 1, more than 5 percent of sea stars were affected. Now, I would say, in some areas, it is up to 90 percent."

A marine epidemiologist at Cornell University says that this is "the largest mortality event for marine diseases we've seen".

#2 The population of bluefin tuna in the Pacific Ocean has declined by 95 percent.

West Coast devastation continues: seals, oysters, pelicans, fish, squid -- all sick, dying or failing to breed

(NaturalNews) The makings of a mass-level extinction event in the world's oceans appear disturbingly imminent, as marine species after marine species washes ashore on the Pacific West Coast. Ailing seals, dead fish, missing pelicans and much more are being reported in the media as scientists struggle to figure out what, exactly, is causing entire marine ecosystems to suffer and die, seemingly inexplicably.

Much of the carnage is being reported in California, where baby sea lions in distress have been washing ashore in record numbers. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports that, for the second year in a row, more baby sea lions than ever are having trouble surviving after being abandoned by their mothers, the direct result of a lack of food.

According to reports, a record 367 California sea lions were admitted to the Marine Mammal Center near San Francisco between January and May, which is nearly five times the normal average. In Southern California, more than 600 sea lions, or twice the normal average, have been taken in so far this year. This is on top of the 1,600 that were treated last year.

"Sea lions are living and feeding on the same resource[s] as humans are," stated Shawn Johnson, director of veterinary science at the Marine Mammal Center, to WSJ. "If they are starting to have problems, that shows there could be a problem with the ocean."

A little further north, orcas and beluga whales are suffering similar fates. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says widespread pollution from oil and gas drilling has caused populations of both species to dwindle significantly throughout the past several decades.

Also suffering along the Alaskan coast are Alaskan ice seals, more than 250 of which have developed a mystery disease that often results in death. Experts have postulated that toxic algal growth along coastal waters may be to blame, and this a result of excess sun exposure due to continued ozone depletion.

The Nation's Salad Bowl Is Turning To Dust

The entire state of California is reeling from three years of catastrophic drought that will soon force cities and farmers to limit the amount of water they use during the summer, the driest time of the year.

Central Valley, often called the "nation's salad bowl" because it provides a majority of our fruits and vegetables, has been especially hard hit by the ongoing drought.

One-third of produce in the United States is grown in the Central Valley, made up of Sacramento Valley in the north and San Joaquin Valley in the south.

Here's how these crippling water shortages and restrictions are putting our food supply at risk.

The Biggest Threat to the Economy Is from Outer Space

"Threats to the electric grid are coming from everywhere: saboteurs, weather and, as silly as it sounds, from outer space. The danger is significant and growing, and business risk managers are taking it seriously.

"The latest warning comes from Paul Singer's Elliott Management Corp., Singer warned investors of what he sees as the gravest threat: an electromagnetic pulse from the Sun that knocks out the grid for months or longer.

"While it sounds like the stuff of Hollywood, the threat from the Sun is quite real. Just last week, NASA reported on a 2012 sunburst, known as a coronal mass ejection, with the potential to 'knock modern civilization back to the 18th century.'

Buildup Makes Russia Battle-Ready for Ukraine

WASHINGTON - Russia has roughly doubled the number of its battalions near the Ukrainian border, Western officials said Monday, and could respond to the Kiev government's gains there by launching a cross-border incursion with little or no warning.

Over the past several weeks, Russia has built up 17 battalions - totaling 19,000 to 21,000 troops, according to one Western estimate - into a battle-ready force of infantry, armor, artillery and air defense within a few miles of the border. In addition, it has vastly expanded its firepower, increasing the number of advanced surface-to-air missile units to 14 from eight, and deploying more than 30 artillery batteries, according to the officials.

The Kremlin's intentions in increasing its military abilities remain unclear. President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia could be seeking to pressure Ukraine and the United States to agree to a political settlement that would grant the eastern provinces of Ukraine maximum autonomy. But Mr. Putin, Western officials fear, may also be developing the option to intervene more directly if it appears that the pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine are on the verge of defeat.

Berlin House of One: The First Church-Mosque-Synagogue?

"Berlin thinks it is making religious history as Muslims, Jews and Christians join hands to build a place where they can all worship. The House of One, as it is being called, will be a synagogue, a church and a mosque under one roof.

"The location is highly significant, according to one of the three religious leaders involved, Rabbi Tovia Ben Chorin. 'From my Jewish point of view the city where Jewish suffering was planned is now the city where a centre is being built by the three monotheistic religions which shaped European culture,' he told the BBC.

"Can they get on? 'We can. That there are people within each group who can't is our problem but you have to start somewhere and that's what we are doing.'

"The imam involved, Kadir Sanci, sees the House of One as 'a sign, a signal to the world that the great majority of Muslims are peaceful and not violent.' It's also, he says, a place where different cultures can learn from each other.

"Each of the three areas in the House will be the same size, but of a different shape, architect Wilfried Kuehn points out.

"'Each of the singular spaces is designed according to the religious needs, the particularities of each faith,' he says. 'There are for instance two levels in the mosque and the synagogue but there's only one level in the church. There will be an organ in the church. There are places to wash feet in the mosque.'

"He and his team of architects researched designs for the three types of worshipping place and found more similarities than expected."

"We Will Raise The Flag Of Allah In The White House" - ISIS Threatens America

VICE News reporter Medyan Dairieh embedded with the terrorist group known as ISIS, ISIL and now just Islamic State, for three weeks and in the video below Abu Mosa, a spokesman for the terror group states "I say this to America, that the Islamic Caliphate has been established. And we will not stop. Don't be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq. We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House."

Mosa's statement to America starts at the 4:40 minute mark in the VICE video below, but the entire video is a must-see to understand the depths of evil we face. Evil we have allowed to thrive to the point where they now control significant parts of Iraq and Syria.

I would greatly encourage you to watch the following 18-minute video of some of the signs of the last days that happened around the world within the last month or so.

These videos are meant to inform you and help you wake up to the lateness of the hour, not to scare you. We can have confidence in God and do not need to be afraid.

"Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock." (Psalm 27:3-5)

While the ten plagues reported above are bad enough, the ten last plagues will be much worse and affect much larger portions of the earth. But even then we do not need to be afraid.

"Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling." (Psalm 91:5-10)
